letter from the editor

My name is Justin Chookasezian, and, on behalf of the legendary Mark Zuckerberg team, it is my pleasure as Editor in Chief to introduce you to our new source of online information.  Our website, entitled “Culturally Curious,” focuses on those interested in learning about the unknown sides of society from an unbiased, modern perspective. Our mission for this website is to eloquently report on the “strange” and sub-cultures of today, shedding light on either unknown or less debated topics and countering the power of omission in media.

Our website covers various topics aptly organized into five categories, including culture, current events, entertainment, art, and education. With this new outline, one can discover fascinating topics, from the origins of urban dialect to the unjust pricing of “precious” stones.  Our culture reporters devote their time to investigating and unlocking the answers to these questions with our first article series called “Truth Be Told.”  Also, our articles under the topic of current events cover various global events that leave lasting impacts on society at large but of which are widely unheard.   In the realm of entertainment, our trusted staff also presents the beginnings and forms of everything from underground music to indie movies.  In addition, with our artistic articles, we explore unconventional forms of self-expression.  In our final topic, education, our reporters introduce a different perspective about one of the most necessary aspects of our daily lives.

Apart from the content, with the business aspect of our website, our target audience is simply those, of adolescents and older, who are intrigued and willing to learn about an alternative outlook on the world.  We do not charge these edgy folks, instead, we will generate funds through advertising.  Of course, our advertisements must come from businesses that connect with our unique ideals.  This includes retro fashion organizations and avant-garde artists.  Our website mostly uploads as new information and opportunities arise.  However, new content is available at least every other day.  Through this revolutionary new website, we will inspire and connect with the hearts and minds of the young and old, the culturally curious.

Sincerely,
Justin "The Situation" Chookasezian
